What a wonderful little piece of agitprop the people's hero Sam Seder created. As a ranking upper Party member I especially enjoyed how he completely absolved the proletariat...I mean the state workers .... from any responsibility. (Bus drivers making excess of 70K per year will become common place, once Obama completely devalues the dollar) The toiling tax-paying unwashed masses must be made to realize that will of the Unions will not be opposed. If Unions cannot forcibly extract their exorbitant union dues then campaign donations to the Democratic Party will go down and we will lose valuable ground in our socialist remake of America. The Unions must at all times keep costs up and services low to continue Lenin's famous meme of crushing the bourgeoisie by grinding them between the millstones of taxation and inflation. Thanks for posting this Comrade, when everything falls apart there will be a place for you and quite possibly an extra ration of beets!!
@theo, I see your "false consciousness" is alive and well. I would hope you are getting paid to be a Fucking Troll. I would hate to think someone would put in so much time and effort to spread propaganda that ultimately fucks themselves, or should I not use such big words?? Wouldn't want you to think this high school graduate is an elitist intellectual!!

When I lived in the US I was working two full time jobs, paying my bills, and so broke I was eating the cheapest food there was. At the grocery store, I'd see people loading up their carts and pay with food stamps. I also remember the union cashiers at Food Lion, making $30 an hour, which I had to pay for with higher prices. A cashier at a grocery store is a high schooler, minimum wage job. Not a job for someone to get and keep for their whole lives, with no increase in responsibility, but continual pay raises because they're union. The unions were good when they started, but now IN A LOT OF CASES, they are a problem, exactly like the multi-generational welfare freeloaders. I left the US 14 years ago, and discovered that the US economy sucks even when people think it's good.
I see the trolls are climbing out of the woodwork. It's got me wondering why so many Americans respond to someone having a decent job by getting pissed and trying to figure out a way to knock that person down instead of thinking, hey, what can I do to ensure that I get a deal like that, too? Is there some fundamentally self-destructive trait inbred in this country that drives people to want everyone to compete in a race to the bottom?
@MarkD60, calling your bullshit, I also remember the union cashiers at Food Lion, making $30 an hour, which I had to pay for with higher prices. Food Lion didn't have higher prices, they were competitive with other stores, as a matter of fact at times they had the low prices. As for your bullshit about unions, we need more union workers not less. Unions improve wages and working conditions for all workers, even ass-Wholes like you!!

Comrade Kuluri! The Ministry of Truth is not very happy with your response. One must remember one's training and not knee jerk to base name calling when dealing with the "less enlightened." Just what are they teaching at ACORN and other community organizing training camps these days?? You should always strive to obtain at least a simulacrum of objectivity and fairness in your answers even though you know it does not and cannot exist within our Party's mandates. Such unthinking responses gives wide credence to William F Buckley Jr's quote saying: "Liberals claim to want to give a hearing to other views, but then are shocked and offended to discover that there are other views." These kinds of mistakes truly damage the Party's agenda and will only serve to delay our complete take over. Obama learned a bitter lesson when he told them "to get into their faces" when in fact that is a two way street and the other side can employ it as well. The "Current Truth" (which is subject to change without notice but you will be notified by Party Organs such as the NYT, NPR and WaPo) states that we will hear but not actually LISTEN to opposing views. I point this out for the further edification of the elite and of course yourself. I would hate to see a promising career in the field of propaganda distribution cut short by a trip to the Gulag. Keep strong and keep the Party at the fore-front of your thoughts and be prepared to throw yourself under our bus at a moment's notice!!
On my planet there would be caps on what everyone could make so there would be no such thing as the super rich. Or for that matter, even rich.
ReplyDeleteSam's right on the money in this vid!

We need a planet fair enough that it doesn't need unions.
ReplyDeleteMost of the grocery stores here are union but I don't know what the wages are.
