Yesterday I was looking at a free monthly newspaper called
Marquette Monthly and saw in their gallery and museum guide that there is an air museum at K.I.Sawyer. As I had been stationed at K.I.Sawyer when it was an Air Force base, I went to their website to check out what they had at their museum. One of the pages they have at their site is a timeline for K.I.Sawyer with a history illustrated with photos. One photo looked very familiar to me. After looking at it for awhile, I realized it was one I had taken while at Dow AFB, ME.
This is the photo on the page for the
timeline for K.I.Sawyer.

Here is the photo from my other blog.
Kulkuri's Journeys and Wanderings. There are only two other places this photo could be found, one is the photo itself in a photo album that is somewhere in our storage unit and the other place, other than my other blog, is on the hard drive of The Old Lady's confuser where I scanned it over three years ago so I could put it on my other blog.(Lots of others there!!)
I sent a message via their contact page to the K.I.Sawyer Heritage Air Museum asking why they had my photo taken at Dow AFB, ME on their K.I.Sawyer timeline. This morning when I checked my e-mail there was a reply which said, "I don't know. I'll check with the webmaster who puts the stuff up."
I did mention K.I.Sawyer in the post, but thought I was pretty clear about the photo being from Dow Airplane Patch. It's just a scanned photo taken with an instamatic camera many years ago. And I realize that once I put it up on the intratubes that it was fair game if someone wanted to steal it. I just want them to be accurate and not use a photo from somewhere else as being a photo of K.I.Sawyer.
