They Brand Everything In Tejas

When we were in Tejas I bought some eggs. When I opened the carton I noticed the eggs had the store brand on them.

Road Test Of Radar Detector

Picture taken while parked in a parking lot.

My radar detector that I paid a couple bucks for got road tested recently. We went down I-20 to Vicksburg then down and across Louisiana to Tejas. After spending several days in Tejas, we headed for home by way of Mobile, AL. Then finally from Mobile to Hot-Lanta. The unit seemed to work, got alerts on all the bands, it helped us to see the cops sooner than we would have without it. We don't usually drive that fast that the detector would be necessary, but it still helps.
It worked fine out on the highway, in town it gave a number of false alarms because of automatic door openers even when set on 'City'. All in all I'm pleased with it and considering what I paid for it, I'm real happy.

Another Meme

Lisa tagged me and because there doesn't happen to be anything else on my social calender today, I will do this.

The Rules:
1. Go to the 4th folder in your computer where you store your pictures.
2. Pick the 4th picture in that folder.
3. Explain the picture.
4. Tag 4 people to do the same.

This is not the fourth pix in the fourth file because the fourth file only has two left in it. Recently I went thru most of the files of pictures and put them into files to be saved and then they were burnt to a DVD. This is the second one in the file and is a poor picture of the statue of Jim Reeves at a small memorial park for him outside of Carthage, TX. I didn't figure the picture was worth saving and that is why it was left in the folder.
Here is the 'Book-on-a-stick' that explains who Gentleman Jim was. These pictures were taken last March when I was on my way back from Tejas.

I don't feel like inflicting this on anyone else, so I won't, but if anyone wants to do it, feel free to do so!
