Reminds Me Of My 401K

The couple times that I had a 401k, the fees were more than the account earned and in the end the account had less than was put into it!! I don't know how many years I would have had to put money into a 401k in order for it to start to earn money instead of costing money. Didn't work long enough at any place where I had a 401k to find out. Usually rolled the money over into an IRA at my credit union and eventually cashed it in when I needed it for something.

  1. Same thing happened to mine for the same reason.

  2. I've never had a 401K or an IRA and I'm still kicking along okay.
