First Day of Spring UP on the Tundra

Next time I do a video with my camera I need to do something with the lens cover so it won't make noise as I walk. Also will do a lower setting on picture quality so it won't take all day to upload.

Had to upload it to YouTube and then get the embed code from there.

  2. Boy, that is more snow than I've had to deal with since moving here in 98. But I get to bitch about the rain a lot.

  3. It is funny how people like us that live in the rural northland accept the snow and ice as a natural part of existence. While people from the outside or away whine and panic the rest of us just get out our snow blowers and figure mud season will get her when it gets here. At least there are no mosquitoes and black flies and midges to deal with when there is snow on the ground.

  4. About that "no mosquitos" thing. I did a post last year on them.

This was in the middle of January.

But yeah, it's been a more or less normal winter. We had a bunch of mild winters and this one was more like a normal winter.

This time of year is the depressing time, you get a day or two of nice weather and you think the snow is going to melt and flowers are going to come up and then it snows again and again and again!!
