The other day I did a post on Fucking New Blogger. I made mention of words at random being highlighted that turned out to be spam not a link by the poster. This morning I think I figured out what was/is causing that. It is the browser I was using, Firefox. This morning while looking at another blog noticed the spam phenomenon again. When I shut down Firefox and switched to Chrome, I no long saw highlighted words that weren't links put there by the poster. I think it was the combination of Firefox and being signed into blogger that did it 'cause it didn't happen when I wasn't signed into blogger.
I think I figured out why the last post was all by itself. The last time it happened and this time I copied and pasted the picture instead of used the URL for the picture as I was unable to load the picture to blogger using URL and so did the copy and paste thingee. When dealing with electronics, I figure it's all FM, Fucking Magic!!
I use Chrome and I have never seen the highlights.

I love crome..except it's harder to watch video's with crome.
ReplyDeleteI switched to Firefox years ago when I couldn't download Adobe Acrobat after purchasing it. Everyone says Chrome is better? I dunno.
ReplyDeleteChrome fucked me up bad and I had to dump it. I haven't really tried the new shit - Guess I ain't gettin much choice in the matter come soon.

I haven't noticed this yet. I write my Blogger posts on Firefox, too. I'll have to pay more attention, I guess, because I sure don't want unwelcome, uncontrollable links in my personal space. I didn't sign up for that. I purposely don't have ads on my website for that very reason: Because Google won't let me choose what goes on there.
ReplyDeleteHum, I use only Firefox but that hasn't happened to me, maybe you can change something in your dashboard while mucking around in it with the new features.
ReplyDeleteI don't copy/paste pictures into my post, I upload them, unless they are animated, then I drag/drop them or they won't work right.
Everything seems to work differently for everyone, what a clusterfuck. On the bright side, so far it's a free clusterfuck.
