Dunkin' Donuts

A few days ago The Old Lady asked why I never go to Dunkin' Donuts and get a Maple Frosted donut?? It is only about a block down the street and so I asked her why doesn't she stop there on her way to or from work?? Anywho, yesterday I decided to be nice and go to Dunkin' Donuts while on my walk and get a couple of donuts. When I was in there before they didn't have any donuts on the shelves behind the counter, so I got a fritter. This time they had an assortment of donuts, so I got a Maple Frosted for her and a Boston Kreme for me to go with coffee today. The Maple Frosted was gone this morning and when I looked in the bag, the Boston Kreme was in there frosting side down. 99% of the frosting was stuck to the bottom of the bag. The person working there was more interested in trying to sell me coffee than how she put the donuts in the bag.
While I have frequented Dunkin' Donuts in the past and had no complaints, I will not go to this one again. After two strikes, I am not willing to go for the third one.

  1. Since the maple frosted and the Boston cream are two of my favorites, I can understand your annoyance. I don't blame you for not going there again.

  2. Now if they had placed the maple frosted one upside down in the bag...I would have gone ballistic. That is my ultimate favorite. In Beantown, there is a Dunkin Donut on every corner and in between. UGH!

  3. On Cape Cod you can throw a donut from one donut shop to another. The other chain had a bear on it and something about honey in the name.
